    We are accepting resumes for highly motivated and savvy individuals who are interested in joining our exciting and established Media team. Our work has won the prestigious MIXX award three years running. In this challenging position, you will work with clients and our account service team to develop and implement complex paid search.

    The Media Planner will create successful paid search and display campaigns based on an understanding of a client’s business objectives and their customers. During the lifecycle of the campaign, the Media Planner will be deeply involved with the performance of their campaigns and develop optimization plans that can be communicated to the client effectively. The ability of the medium to track and target data requires the Planner to be a detail-oriented and strategic thinker that is obsessed with finding the why behind the data.

    Responsibilities:
    -Translate client goals and objectives into strategic interactive media plans
    -Develop keywords and phrases based on client online goals and objectives
    -Provide clients with POVs and best practices for search media
    -Consult with other team members including account service, strategy and creative to ensure that campaigns are integrated with all digital marketing initiatives
    -Communicate with clients on all elements of a campaign including regular reporting
    -Maintain vendor relations as they relate to client campaigns
    -Collaborate with technical team on the implementation of tracking codes for effective tracking and ROI measurement
    -Analyze campaign reports and proactively optimize campaign performance
    -Maintain expert knowledge of interactive/digital media and contribute to agency education and knowledge sharing.

    Qualifications:
    -Bachelors degree with interest or emphasis in marketing, advertising, or related fields
    -3-5 years online/digital/interactive advertising agency experience required
    -2+ years of hands on paid search campaign management
    -Excellent project management skills
    -Superior Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint capabilities
    -Experience with ad serving technologies is required (Marin, Kenshoo, DART)
    -A proven track record for results oriented campaign optimization and with sample case studies
    -Ability to manage, collect and integrate online advertising reporting data from multiple sources, to include web analytics, ad-servers, and other sources
    -Ability to work with and present to clients at all different levels
    -Advertising trafficking experience, comprehensive knowledge of online creative specifications

    -The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned campaigns
    -A high degree of organization and communication skills
    -Strong interpretation skills; can work from little detail

    -Extra consideration for candidates that have display experience through utilizing DSPs, ad networks and direct site buys

  • Hiring: VP, Strategy

    The VP of Strategy leads client engagement direction and is an integral part of the agency’s full-service interactive team.  He/she acts as a consultant to develop the online strategy as it relates to the client’s overall business goals. The Strategist is fluent in recognizing and negotiating multiple client-side department stakeholder business objectives, understanding consumer behavior, defining analytics strategy and developing actionable reports. Key deliverables include creating and optimizing an online channel development / enhancement plan and interactive marketing roadmap. 

    Core Responsibilities:
    - Performing strategic analyses and best practices audits
    - Developing integrated marketing and promotions roadmaps / campaigns for clients
    - Developing customer targeting and segmentation strategies
    - Developing customer acquisition, retention and conversion strategies
    - Developing business cases and ROIs for various business purposes, including direct response advertising campaigns, marketing programs, campaign options, and website development efforts
    - Partnering with senior account leadership to support client decision-making
    - Providing strategic counsel to executive level clients
    - Actively contributing to cross functional delivery teams
    - Coordinating with media and analytics teams to make sure findings inform strategic planning
    - Supporting business development efforts with research, structure and smart thinking
    - Scoping and pitching projects for new and existing clients

    Required Skills:
    - 5-8 years Internet, marketing or management consulting experience
    - Leadership, collaboration, and presentation/communication skills a must
    - Notable experience in financial sector or with financial clients
    - Ability to review vast amounts of research, synthesize and draw relevant conclusions
    - Ability to multitask so as to support multiple projects
    - Experience in consumer brand marketing (consulting or client-side)
    - Experience with online advertising, online strategy, site development strategy, basic -front-end technology issues
    - Excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting ideas in front of clients
    - Team player with the ability to play different roles within the team
    - Ability to manage, mentor and grow one or more direct reports
    - Comfortable with being able to quickly join the client team and immediately add value
    - Comfortable developing Excel models of average complexity
    - Excellent PowerPoint skills
    - Must be willing to travel a few days a month, as needed
    - MBA a plus

    We are currently searching for an experienced SEO Specialist for the Geary SEO division who will be responsible for the creation and implementation of key SEO strategies, including optimizing on page site elements and site structure, content creation, and off page link building and awareness tactics.

    Summary of essential job functions

    • -Planning, implementation, and ongoing management of link building strategies
    • -Keyword research and analysis
    • -Site architecture analysis
    • -Client Search Engine ranking analysis and reporting
    • -Lead regular client reporting meetings, strategy reviews, and explanation of deliverables
    • -Work with clients and internal teams to help educate and field client questions on the SEO process and principles
    • -Monitoring and managing daily progress of search engine campaign details including strategy & implementation, copywriting, budgets, and reporting.
    • -Closely monitor campaigns and work with internal teams to ensure client goals are met.
    • -Trend analysis and Web Analytics interpretation to make appropriate campaign strategy adjustments.
    • -Research opportunities around new technologies or vendors.
    • -Contribute to team efforts to maintain in-depth knowledge of industry current events and trends.
    • -Identify ongoing organic search opportunities within client campaigns

     

    Knowledge of the following theory, principles, practices and/or content:

    • -Strong link building experience and knowledge
    • -Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm and ranking strategies
    • -Basic knowledge of paid search tools and strategies as well as an awareness of emerging opportunities
    • -Experience with SEO for complex database-driven websites and an understanding of database-driven websites strongly preferred
    • -Ability to break down complex ideas/concepts/strategies to both clients and other team members
    • -Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web design
    • -Knowledge of  Google Analytics, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • -Strong aptitude and interest in technology, the internet, & experience with a variety of platforms.
    • -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

     

    Other Requirements:

    • -2-3 years online advertising/media buying and SEO experience
    • -Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • -Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive, yet fun environment while managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.

  • Hiring: PHP Web Developer

    Summary of Position
    We are looking for a highly motivated Web Developer with PHP/MySQL experience for the Geary Interactive Division.  The Web Developer works under limited supervision by the Lead Web Developer to communicate with clients and/or account executives to translate business logic into programming logic. 

    Responsibilities

    • -Collaborate with project managers to define and estimate technical scope
    • -Work with a team of designers to develop high-end websites and applications
    • -Update and maintain existing web applications and sites
    • -Basic server administration (LAMP stack)

    Experience
    Strong front end and back end development experience. Good critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, communication skills (written and verbal), ability to handle multiple projects. 

    • -PHP 5 and strong OOP experience are mandatory
    • -Experience developing with an MVC framework; knows and implements MVC best practices
    • -Knows JavaScript and jQuery
    • -Experience using third-party API’s and web services via SOAP, JSON, or XML
    • -Strong MySQL knowledge (can design tables, write own queries, understand joins, indices and keys)
