Lucky Magazine iPhone App Now In Stock

Lucky Magazine, a fashion and shopping publication, is planning to release an iPhone application in conjunction with NearbyNow.

NearbyNow is an online site that sifts through retailers’ stock to locate the closest  available stock of searched products. Noticing a spike around the 10th of every month, the company did some research and found the boost in traffic was directly correlated to the monthly release of Lucky Magazine.

The joint venture will bring the geo-targeting concierge service to iPhones. Every product in the magazine will be featured on the iPhone app, so subscribers and Lucky fans can tap into the app to find which retail store has searched items in stock, in their size and in the desired color.

So now I just have two questions:

1. When is it going to be released?

2. Why is Lucky’s home-focused counterpoint, Domino, going out of print when opportunities like this exist?
